Getting to Tunstall Farm Park
Tunstall Farm Park is located just outside Woodseaves, around ten minutes from Eccleshall. For Sat Nav users, the postcode is ST20 0NH, though do note that the approach involves a number of narrow country lanes.
Free parking is available on site. It can become muddy in wet weather, but there are plenty of attendants on hand to guide vehicles, and even a friendly tractor to assist if needed. The team are welcoming and helpful, making the arrival process straightforward.
What to expect from your visit
We arrived at about midday and it wasn’t too busy at all. You can visit between 10-4pm. We were allocated to a parking space by the friendly parking attendant and then checked in with our tickets and we were provided with our pumpkin picking ticket. We were immediately greeted by a friendly inquisitive alpaca who appeared to love all the attention. You can book an additional alpaca trek if you wish (*additional cost).

There is a small crafting area with arts and crafts, colouring, glue, and alpaca hair to help to make some amazing alpaca creations! Face painting is also available at an additional cost.
Don’t forget to head over to the barn where you can meet farm animals including the most gorgeous mini lop rabbits and the kids can take a seat and have a cuddle too.

There is a large seating area for you to sit and enjoy a cuppa or a hot chocolate. You can bring along your own picnic too which I really liked to keep the cost down. Alternatively there is food available to purchase including chips, hot dogs, cakes and drinks.
You will find a small play area with a sand pit, ride on tractors, and a large tractor that the kids can hop on and have an explore. There are also alpaca talks at dedicated times each day.
And, of course, there is pumpkin picking! Bring your wellies, and grab a wheelbarrow, and head off to the pumpkin field where you will find a HUGE variety of pumpkins, all different colours and sizes, that you can pick and take home, in exchange for your ticket (so whatever you do don’t lose them!) There are some amazing sized pumpkins all ready for Halloween.

Final Thoughts on Tunstall Farm Park Pumpkins & Alpacas
A really lovely few hours here with plenty of gorgeous pumpkins to pick and take home. We do love a pick your own pumpkin! The alpacas are absolutely gorgeous, and the petting barn went down a treat with the kids too. We didn’t do the alpaca trek as that was an additional cost, but I believe this can be arranged on arrival if you decide you wish to do this.
I love that you can bring your own food to keep costs down, and I can tell you, you will be leaving with kids who want to take home both the rabbits, sheep and the alpacas!
A lovely Pumpkin and Halloween event in Staffordshire. An absolute must for families this spooky season!
