1. National Forest Adventure Farm: North Pole Adventure

Running on selected dates in November and December, it’s one of the most popular seasonal attractions near Tamworth.

5. Christmas at Trentham Gardens

Winter Light Trail at Trentham Estate

Trentham Gardens is a must-visit at Christmas, with its stunning illuminated light trail transforming the estate into a sparkling wonderland. Wander through tunnels of light, glowing tree lines and spectacular large-scale installations from 21 November through to early January. The festive season also brings Christmas markets, a big switch-on street party, and the chance to meet Father Christmas in his grotto. With so much happening, Trentham is one of Staffordshire’s biggest festive destinations.

6. A Magical Christmas at World of Wedgwood

World of Wedgwood, to the south of Stoke-on-Trent, hosts a programme of seasonal events for 2025, including the much-loved Breakfast with Santa in the Tea Room and a meet-and-greet in the woodland grotto. The creative Decorating Studio is also open for festive pottery painting and glazing; a brilliant way to make a personalised Christmas keepsake. Whether you’re there for food, shopping, or craft experiences, this Barlaston favourite is packed with Christmas cheer.

7. THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Christmas Train Ride with Churnet Valley Railway

Step aboard THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Christmas Train Ride with Churnet Valley Railway and relive the magic of the classic story. Departing from Froghall Station, this hour-long journey brings the movie to life with singing chefs, hot chocolate, cookies, and immersive panto-style entertainment.

Families are whisked to the “North Pole” to meet Santa, who shares festive gifts and spreads Christmas cheer. Guests are encouraged to wear pyjamas for the full experience, and the authentic American-built steam locomotive adds extra magic.

9. Cinderella, Regent Theatre Pantomime

Stoke-on-Trent’s Regent Theatre is home to one of the county’s best-loved pantomimes, and this year the spotlight falls on Cinderella. Expect dazzling costumes, big laughs, and spectacular stage effects, with local favourites Jonathan Wilkes and Kai Owen leading the cast. Running from mid-December into the New Year, this show promises festive fun for all ages.

10. Santa’s Winter Wonderland, SnowDome

Now in its 20th year, Santa is back at the SnowDome for Christmas 2025 with a family festive extravaganza! From 15th November 2025, his magical winter wonderland in the snow. What can you expect for 2025? Real snow, a pantomime and Santa’s magical Christmas village!
