Top tips for your visit

  • There is something for everyone at the National Forest Adventure Farm but I would say that it is more suitable for families with children aged 2 – 12.
  • Over the Summer don’t forget to pack swimwear, towels and a change of clothes. We took flip flops too and a little sand free beach towel to sit at the beach. There are little changing huts for families to get changed and you can purchase any items that you forget including goggles, water toys etc at the little beach shop. There are plenty of outdoor activities so don’t forget to wear comfortable footwear.
  • Parking at the National Forest Adventure Farm is free, and there is a large carpark with plenty of spaces available.
  • We left our dogs at home for this adventure – as no dogs are allowed at the National Forest Adventure Farm (except assistance dogs).
  • Remember to pack a picnic! There are so many lovely picnic spots dotted around the farm, with picnic benches everywhere. If you forget to bring food don’t worry there are plenty of places to purchase hot and cold food and snacks, including a little beach snack bar and a restaurant too.
  • Take a picture of the events , animal handling times and shows as you enter the farm to make sure you don’t miss out on anything.
  • If you book a visit for Farmarama dated between 19th July and 9th August, you qualify for a free return pass to be used before the end of the Summer (1st September 2025).
  • The farm is a cashless site – its card payment only.

Final thoughts on a summer visit to The National Forest Adventure Farm

The National Forest Adventure Farm is a brilliant day out for kids. There is plenty to see and do and their seasonal events are always incredible – Farmarama didn’t disappoint!

I love that the team have bought the beach and paddling pools to Staffordshire this Summer, and in the beautiful weather it wasn’t too busy and the activities were well supervised. There is plenty to do if the weather is not playing ball, with the animal barn undercover and the indoor play area.

Pack a picnic, swim wear and head to the National Forest Adventure Farm for the ultimate summer fun. We always return to the farm – it is a great day out for all the family.
