The days are getting longer, the weather is getting milder, and the blooms are blooming. Easter is nearly upon us and it is a lovely time of year, with plenty to do in Staffordshire for families.

Here is a list of awesome things to do over Easter in Staffordshire this year. We will continue to update this post as Staffordshire Easter events are announced. Please do contact individual events for more information, up to date prices and to book in advance.

1. Easter at Trentham Estate

Head to Trentham Estate this Easter for some Easter adventures! Spring into fun with the Shaun the Sheep ‘Find the Flock’ garden trail, lambing experiences and the start of our annual Spring Bulb Festival.

2. World of Wedgwood – Easter activities

Head over to the World of Wedgwood over the Easter holidays for some Easter fun. World of Wedgwood open their Decorating Studio for you to get creative with pottery painting! You can choose from various shapes and sizes to paint, including hanging decorations, pots, vases, lanterns, animals and even unicorns (subject to availability). On the day, you can choose from water-based paints to take your item home the same day or our more durable option of glaze and fire, which will incur a wait time.

After a visit to the Decorating Studio why not visit the Wedgwood Tea Room for an iconic Wedgwood Afternoon Tea. If you are dining with the kids, they will love their Hedgwood and Friends Afternoon Tea, created especially for younger guests.

3. Easter Egg Hunt at Shugborough Estate

Make your way along the trail and find activities for the whole family. Between Friday 27 March and Sunday 12 April from 9.00 to 17.00, head to Shugborough Estate and explore the beautiful Parkland and Gardens. Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.

4. Easter Egg Hunt at Biddulph Grange Garden

Head to Biddulph Grange Garden and make your way along the family trail. This Easter explore the beautiful Garden of Biddulph Grange Garden. Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg. *Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies. The trail will explore the whole garden and feature a variety of fun Easter activities.

5. Chasewater Easter Egg Challenge

Treat yourself Treat yourself to a race around the beautiful Chasewater Reservoir this Easter! There are a number of races to choose from, including the junior run, 5k, 10k, 15k and 20k. Prices start from £7 for the junior run and go up to £32 for the 20k run.

6. Easter Eggstravaganza at The Wolseley Centre

Enjoy a morning of Easter-based activities at The Wolseley Centre. There will be both indoor and outdoor activities available in the Hub, Tipi and Outdoor classroom. They will light a campfire for some forest-based fun, and there will be an opportunity to make some Easter decorations. It’ll be very eggciting! There will also be an Easter Market, so you can browse through some lovely gifts and crafts.

Suitable for all ages. No dogs except for assistance dogs.

7. Easter Adventure at Kinver

Spring into Easter at Kinver Edge and the Rock Houses and enjoy an Easter adventure. Make your way along the trail and find activities for the whole family. Enjoy the trail between 21st March to 6th April 2026 and explore the beautiful landscape and Rock Houses at Kinver Edge. 

Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.

8. Easter Bunny Run

Fun community run with a playful Easter theme. After the success of the Santa dash, welcome to the Bunny Run on Easter Sunday. 

9. Easter-egg-venture at Lower Drayton Farm

‘Spring’ into action this Easter break with a family visit to PLAY@ Lower Drayton Farm! The farm has got some egg-xtra special treats in store for you including their Dino Egg Hatchery, Tulip Field and NEW easter Egg Hunt!

Meet the Eenie Beanie Bunny, join in the Easter Egg Hunt and get stuck into springtime surprises dotted around the farm – there will be plenty of photo opportunities in the new mini Tulip Paddock! There will also be plenty of opportunity to meet the animals with daily animal talks and interactions sessions. 

Early Bird Discount – prices start at £13.95 for an adult and £13.95 for child. Save £3 on gate price until 22nd March. 

And of course, your visit also includes full access to PLAY@ – with acres of indoor and outdoor adventure play to explore. 10. Dragon Egg Hunt, Tamworth Castle

Ruby the Castle Dragon has hidden her eggs to protect them from a dastardly dragon hunter — but they’re so well disguised that even she can’t find them!

This Easter, young dragon-spotters are needed to search the castle, crack the clues, and reunite Ruby with her precious eggs. Complete the trail and earn a reward for your hard work

11. Churnet Valley Railway – Mad Hatter’s Tea Party

Tumble down the rabbit hole and discover the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at the Churnet Valley Railway this Easter.

Immerse yourself in Lewis Carroll’s beloved book series as you join beloved characters for a thrilling tea party. Encounter the Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter, and more. Don’t miss the chance to dress up and be part of the Wonderland stories brought to life. This is a unique Alice in Wonderland Tea Party experience, complete with entertainment, meet and greet opportunities, and photos with Wonderland’s inhabitants. 12. Drayton Manor Resort – Easter Afternoon Tea

Hop into the Easter season with a magical Easter Afternoon Tea at the Drayton Manor Hotel, packed with sweet treats, springtime fun, and plenty of chocolatey surprises for the whole family.

Indulge in a delicious selection of freshly made finger sandwiches, fluffy scones with jam and cream, and an irresistible array of Easter-themed cakes and pastries, all beautifully presented for a picture-perfect afternoon. Little ones (and big kids too!) can get creative at our cookie decorating station, adding their own colourful sprinkles and icing.

Prices are £18 for children and under including afternoon tea and theme park entry. Adults £22 – Theme park tickets can be added for just £15 if you’d like to extend the fun.
